Indiana State Police Warn of Text Scam

The Indiana State Police are warning residents of a text scam that is making it’s rounds in the area. The text appears to be coming from the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, giving a Final Notice about a traffic violation going unresolved. This is a scam text. The Indiana BMV will never send texts requesting  a payment. If you receive this text please block and delete.
