Interstate 65 lanes to close for bridge work at Taylorsville

You can expect to see lanes and a ramp closing on Interstate 65 near Taylorsville starting Friday.

According to INDOT, contractors will be closing lanes and ramps between 9 p.m. at night and 6 a.m. in the morning so they can make repairs to the bridge approach. Crews will close the right lanes of northbound and southbound I-65 over U.S. 31 as well as the southbound I-65 off-ramp to southbound U.S. 31 at Exit 76. The closures are expected to be in place for up to two days. The work schedule is dependent on the weather.
