IU championship trophy to stop in Columbus next week

The IU football team’s national championship trophy will be making a stop in Columbus next week.

According to IU Columbus, the trophy and others will be on display at the Columbus AirPark Campus on Central Avenue from 2 to 5 on Tuesday, April 21st.

In addition to the College Football Playoff National Championship trophy, the Big Ten Championship, the Rose Bowl, and the Peach Bowl trophies will also be on display. You will be able to take photos of and with the trophies and take part in giveaways.

The goal is for fans across the state to be able to take part in celebrating the historic 16-0 season that was capped by the championship.

The tour has been crisscrossing the state in a custom tour bus, stopping at IU campuses and regional hubs.

The event is free and you are invited to attend.
