Jackson Chamber hosting health care discussion
The Jackson County Chamber will be holding a health care summit next week, looking at rural healthcare.
According to organizers, the panel will bring together state officials, healthcare executives and local practitioners to discuss the future of health care in the community. The goal is to bring together leaders in healthcare and local business along with policymakers to talk about the challenges and opportunities.
Speakers will include Michell Matern with the Indiana Department of Health, Dr. Eric Fish, CEO of Schneck Medical Center, along with Ann Lundy and Erin Daniel with Indiana Health Centers.
The session will be from 8 to 9 in the morning on Friday, Dec. 12th at The Copper Top on St. Louis Avenue. Admission will be $40 for chamber members or $50 for non-members.
