Jennings deputies make arrest in child sex abuse materials investigation

A North Vernon man was arrested last week on charges involving the possession of sexual abuse materials of children.

According to the Jennings County Sheriff’s Department, deputies and Indiana State Police troopers searched a home on Thursday in the 300 block of Laurel Street as part of an investigation into the materials. The search recovered electronic devices and a preliminary review found image and videos of child sexual abuse material.

33-year-old Keith E. Moore was taken into custody.

According to the sheriff’s department, “Investigations involving Child Sexual Abuse Material remain a high priority, and detectives will continue to aggressively investigate and pursue those responsible for the possession, distribution, and production of such material.”
