Johnson County Foundation announces grants for youth programs
The Johnson County Community Foundation is investing $160,000 in programs to support local youth.
The foundation announced yesterday that is awarding $159,971 to eight organizations across the county through this year’s youth programming grants.
Recipients include
- Boys & Girls Club of Johnson County – $28,000 for a Mobile Programming & Garden Expansion
- Imagination Library of Johnson County – $3,971 for Printing for Hospital Registration Materials
- Indiana FFA Leadership Foundation – $10,000 for Access to Adventure: Community Youth Day Camp Initiative
- Nineveh-Hensley-Jackson United School Corporation – $7,500 for Construction Trades
- Yes Ministries Daycare – $35,000 for YesMinistries.lol Daycare, Nursery and PreK in Trafalgar
- Aspire Economic Development + Chamber Alliance – $25,000 for Aspire School to Work Program
- Central Nine Career Center – $30,000 for Greenhouse Evaporation Wall
- KIC-IT – $20,500 for Safe Housing Preservation Project for Youth
According to the foundation the grants are made possible by donors committed to improving the quality of life in Johnson County.
