Johnson County hosting monster mash, fall festival

The Hoosier Fall Festival, frequently rated as one of the top autumn events in Indiana, is going on in Franklin this weekend.

The festival features more than 200 vendors along with food and beverages for sale.

According to organizers, the event at the Johnson County Fairgrounds will be boing on from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Admission is free.

Greenwood will be hosting its much-loved Halloween tradition, Monster Mash tonight

Activities at Craig Park will include trick-or-treating along the event lawn, hayrides through the grounds, music and entertainment for all ages. Food trucks will be on site.

The free event is from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17th.

For $10 you can also get VIP access starting at 4:30 p.m. The event is organized by the Greenwood Parks and Recreation Department.
