Moonlight Loop Registration Fee Going Up July 1st

The 2026 Moonlight Loop evening bike ride is coming up on Saturday August 22nd and you only have a few more days to register until the registration fee increases from $35 to $40. The fee goes up to $40 on July 1st. On the day of the event the registration fee increases to $45. The Moonlight Loop is an evening 19 mile scenic bike ride through Columbus. The ride begins at 9pm on August 22nd and starts and finishes at the Bartholomew County Library Plaza. All proceeds from this event go to support the Friends of Columbus Animal Care Services’ Adoption/ Medical Fund. This fund pays for needed veterinary care and medications, spay/neuter services, and pet food for animals awaiting adoption. The city budget does not cover these expenses so fundraisers like the Moonlight Loop are essential for pets housed at Columbus Animal Care Services facility or for those in foster care while they are waiting on their forever homes.
