Our Hospice launches $2 million fundraising campaign
Our Hospice of South Central Indiana is announcing the launch of a $2 million fund-raising campaign to improve the experiences of patients and their families.
According to the Columbus-based non-profit group, the capital campaign will raise money to modernize the hospice center off of 17th Street. The 14-bed center opened in 2003 and provides end-of-life care to patients and support to their families.
Steph Cain, President of Our Hospice, says “For more than two decades, Our Hospice Center cared for thousands of patients and loved ones during life’s most difficult moments.”
The goal is to update the patient rooms and family spaces to make them feel more like home. The fundraising will include naming opportunities for those wish to support the renovations and a legacy donor wall recognizing original donors that made the center possible.
Naming opportunities range from $5,000 for alcoves and $7,500 for kitchenettes to $150,000 for the chapel and $250,000 for the lobby. You can also make a donation to honor or support someone.
