Red Cross Asking For Donors To Avoid Low Fall Turnout

The American Red Cross is urging donors to give blood now to help curb a drop in donor turn out this fall. Donors of all types are asked to donate at a Red Cross Center or community blood drive to help give hospitals the tools they need to care for patients ahead of the upcoming holidays.
As a thank you, everyone who donates between October 27th and November 16th will get a $20 e-gift card to a store of their choosing and automatically be entered for a chance to win 1 of 3 $5,000 prizes.
There are several opportunities to donate blood locally in the upcoming weeks.
