Red Cross partnering with United Way for Columbus blood drive Thursday

The United Way of Bartholomew County and the American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive Thursday in Columbus.

Donors of all blood types are needed, especially those with types O-negative, A-negative and B-negative, according to the American Red Cross. The Red Cross says that someone in the United States needs blood every two seconds.

The blood drive will be from 1 to 5 p.m. on Thursday at the United Way Center. That’s at 1531 13th St. in Columbus.
