Roads slippery this morning as weather advisory expires

A winter weather advisory is expiring this morning but roads remain slick in some spots.

According to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis, 1 to 3 inches of snow has fallen in our area.

You can expect some slippery roads if you have to be out this morning. In our area, Bartholomew, Brown and Decatur counties are under a Yellow Travel Advisory this morning. That is the lowest level of travel advisory and means that travel could be restricted in some spots due to hazardous conditions.

Emergency officials urge you to slow down, to use extra caution and to give yourself plenty of time to reach your destination.
