School Battle of the Bands set for Saturday

The Columbus Area Arts Council is organizing a Battle of the Bands this weekend at Columbus North High School.

According to the group, four school bands will be battling at the event. That will be followed by a performance by Flat Earth.

The event will be raising donations for Love Chapel to help the hungry in the community. The food pantry has priority need for items such as:

Peanut butter, Cereal, Pasta, Macaroni & cheese

Fresh and canned fruits & vegetables

and canned foods with protein such as canned meats, ravioli, stew or spaghetti with meatballs.

The Battle of the Bands will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22nd, in the auditorium at Columbus North High School.

The event is free but there is a suggested donation of $10.
