Severe weather possible later today with high winds
Forecasters say that severe weather is possible later today especially across southern Indiana
The National Weather Service in Indianapolis says most of the state is under a slight risk of severe weather with the greatest risk being strong winds. In our area, wind gusts of up to 33 mph are expected. Tree limbs and powerlines could be knocked down.
There is also a chance of tornadoes, large hail and wind gusts of 60 mph or more. The highest chance for the bad weather will be later this afternoon into the evening.
