Signups underway for Jan. 19th United Way volunteer day

Volunteer sign ups are now open for the United Way of Bartholomew County’s annual Day of Service honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The agency will be holding its annual MLK Day of Service on January 19th. Signups for volunteer roles that day are now open on the United Way web site. There are a variety of roles available that day, assisting the United Way and its member agencies. Organizers say that there will be volunteer opportunities for everyone from five years old to seniors.

Organizers say that the service projects strengthen the community, empower individuals, and help create real solutions to local challenges.
