Silver alert declared for missing Shelby County teen

A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared as authorities search for a missing Shelby County teen.

The Shelby County Sheriff Department is investigating the disappearance of 19-year-old Logan Meadows. He is a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 135 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and carrying a black backpack.

Meadows is missing from Shelbyville and was last seen on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 12:00 PM.  He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
