Single Car Accident Results in One Death

On Tuesday around 2:30PM the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a single vehicle accident near the intersection of N 325 W and Lowell Rd.

As a result of the crash, two passengers were transported to Indianapolis area hospitals by ambulances. A third passenger  who was entrapped inside in the vehicle had to be extracted then flown via Lifeline to an Indianapolis area hospital. The fourth passenger, a 19yo male, was pronounced deceased on scene.

The Bartholomew County Accident Reconstruction Team was called to the scene to conduct an investigation into the cause and manner of the accident. At this time the investigation is ongoing.
