Some Eastern Bartholomew customers under boil water advisory

Some Eastern Bartholomew Water Corp. customers are under a boil water advisory after repairs to a water main yesterday.

According to the water utility, crews worked to fix a water main damaged by another utility company in Wayne Township between County Roads East 550S and East 650S. Customers affected by the disruption are under a boil water advisory. You should bring water to a full boil for three to five minutes before drinking it or using it in food preparation.

The boil water advisory will remain in effect until noon on Wednesday.
