State police rolling out new blue patrol vehicles

Indiana’s newest state police troopers received their new patrol vehicles this week, all with a new color scheme.

According to the Indiana State Police, 20 graduates from the 87th Indiana State Police Recruit Academy received their first patrol vehicles — Dodge Durangos with a new-look, blue paint job.

Among area state police troopers, Trooper Cameron Curry of the Versailles District, Trooper Carson Thomas in the Sellerburg District and Trooper Collin R. Cook in the Bloomington District received the new-look vehicles. All of the officers recently completed their field training.

The state police are also rolling out new blue Mustang patrol vehicles.
