Stolen meds leads to arrest of North Vernon man

An investigation into stolen prescription medication led to the arrest of a North Vernon man over the weekend.
According to the Jennings County Sheriff’s Department, the investigation started Saturday. Through the course of their investigation deputies identified Eric Wilson of North Vernon as a suspect. On Sunday, they interviewed Wilson at his home and based on that information, a search warrant was served to find stolen property.
Deputies say that they recovered the stolen medication as well as almost 37 grams of Methamphetamine, 43 grams of Marijuana, an assortment of prescription medications and drug paraphernalia.
Wilson was arrested on preliminary charges for possessing the drugs and paraphernalia as well as dealing in methamphetamine and theft.
