Tax filing help appointments now open through United Way
Reservations are now open for those who need help filing their taxes in Bartholomew County.
The United Way of Bartholomew County’s is again offering its My Free Taxes program to county residents who make $70,000 or less. IRS-certified volunteers provide confidential and secure basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.
Income tax assistance appointments will be conducted through mid-April at the Doug Otto United Way Center.
Appointments can be made by calling the United We Help Line at 812-375-2216 anytime between 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Assistance is available by appointment only.
