Work to start next week on Interstate 65 at Edinburgh

Interstate 65 ramps and lanes at Edinburgh and Taylorsville will be closing next week as crews work on the bridge approaches there.

According to INDOT, the work will be starting Thursday, June 4th, with the right southbound lane closing over U.S. 31 at Exit 76, as well as the southbound off ramp to U.S. 31. That work will be going on for up to five days, depending on the weather. The left lane will remain open.

On Saturday June 6th, crews will close the the right lane of northbound I-65 over U.S. 31 for up to one day, weather permitting. The left lane will remain open.

The project is part of a $3.8 million contract awarded to E&B Paving.
