Directions for Vehicle Owners:

  • If you’re bringing a vehicle to be in the show, first go to the Staging Area in the county parking lot across from the Bartholomew County Jail between 2nd & 3rd Streets. Vehicles will be directed into the show area by HRRR car show parking volunteers, 10 vehicles at a time. Vehicles will be brought up Franklin Street and turn left at 5th Street to enter the show and then advance to 7th when other area is full. We will get everyone parked in the event in a timely manner and before 3pm. We cannot permit anyone to save spaces for their car show buddies or car club members who want to park together downtown – they must arrive together. Our downtown car show workers will do their best to part the vehicles and clubs that are in line together in the staging area close together downtown.
  • There’s no sitting on the sidewalks blocking business access. Vehicle owners are asked to sit between their vehicles and the sidewalk.
  • Hot Rods and Rock & Roll has permission to use the county parking lot beginning at 8am. Registration for the Show ends at 1:30 pm. Vehicles not registered at the staging area parking lot will not be admitted to the show. Remember, this is a free show and we hope everyone has a great time. There will be police on hand as always.
  • We will get everyone parked in the event in a timely manner and before 3pm. We appreciate everyone’s patience during this process.
  • All vehicle owners are responsible for engine/transmission spills from their vehicle. You are advised to bring materials to clean any spill from your vehicle. A broom bucket and non-clumping cat litter are suggested clean up materials. You are to haul away any clean up materials you use. They cannot be left in the street or dumped in the trash containers!
  • 4th Street between Washington and Jackson and Washington and Franklin is designated as the 4th Street dining area.
  • When leaving the show with your classic ride, you need to exit from Washington and 8th Street.
