City of Columbus City Hall Custodian Vickie Sneed Retires After 18 Years of Service

After nearly two decades of keeping Columbus City Hall shining and its spirits high, longtime facilities department custodian Vickie Sneed has officially retired. Sneed, who dedicated 18 years of service to the city, was honored by city officials, colleagues, and friends during a heartfelt retirement celebration.

Sneed served the city through four different mayoral administrations, providing a steady and joyful presence in City Hall. Known for her gregarious attitude, spunky demeanor and boundless kindness, she became a deeply beloved figure to everyone who crossed her path.

To mark the occasion, Columbus Mayor Mary Ferdon read an official proclamation declaring a special day in her honor.

The City of Columbus extends its deepest gratitude to Vickie for her 18 years of exceptional service and wishes her a long, happy, and adventurous retirement.
