Government offices closing for Independence Day holiday

Local government offices will be closing for the Fourth of July holiday.

In Columbus, government offices will be closed Friday and Monday. However trash, recycling and yard waste collection will be on their normal schedule both days.

Columbus City Utilities offices will also be closed. If you have a problem with your water or sewer service, please call 812-372-8861

Bartholomew County government offices will be closed Friday.

In Seymour, normal Friday trash and recycling routes will instead be collected on Thursday.
