Bartholomew Consolidated to celebrate start of new school construction

Bartholomew Consolidated Schools are planning a groundbreaking ceremony for the newest elementary school on the west side of Columbus.

The new school, to be called Maple Grove Elementary, will be the district’s 12th elementary and is meant to address the population growth on the west and south side of Columbus. It will hold about 650 students and is to be built along Tipton Lakes Boulevard.

The school district will be holding the ground breaking ceremony at 3:30 p.m. on the afternoon of October 22nd.
