Bartholomew deputies packing a patrol car Saturday, Sunday

The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department is working to help those in hunger with their “Pack a Patrol Car” food drive including an event this weekend.

Canned foods and non-perishable food items are being accepted to benefit Love Chapel and the Salvation Army.

The Sheriff’s Department will have their patrol car at the Sams Club on Jonathan Moore Pike on Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 3 to accept donations. Next weekend they will be at Jay C in the Westhill Shopping Center.

Donation boxes are available in the front lobby of the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, on Second Street, in Columbus and the Bartholomew County Courthouse.
