Columbus Animal Care Services offering free dog adoptions to ease overcrowding

Columbus Animal Care Services is offering free dog adoptions to help ease overcrowding in the facility.

Officials say that the shelter is completely full with every kennel occupied and more dogs arriving with nowhere to place them. The shelter is offering free adoptions of dogs that are older than six months. All adoptions will include spaying or neutering, vaccinations and a microchip.

The shelter on Arnold Street is open from 10am to 5 pm today, from 10am to noon on Saturday and from 10am to 5pm Monday through Wednesday.
