Columbus Chamber launches new fund for small business growth

The Columbus Area Chamber Foundation is setting up a new fund to support 100 small businesses over 500 days.

According to the Chamber, the new Catalyst 100 Fund is meant to support Bartholomew County businesses with one on one mentoring, professional services support such as accounting, marketing and legal assistance, as well as provide connections to other local resources and partnerships.

To quality, businesses must be located in Bartholomew County, have been established and operating for at least a year, employ 10 or fewer people and generate less than half a million dollars in annual revenue.

The fund is part of the foundation’s celebration of 50 years in operation here.

Funding for the Catalyst 100 fund comes from partners including Cummins CARE, Heritage Fund of Bartholomew County, Custer and Nugent Foundations, Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, First Financial Bank Foundation, Old National Bank, and Centra Credit Union.
