Columbus State of the City address set for Tuesday

Columbus Mayor Mary Ferdon’s 2026 State of the City address is coming up tomorrow.

The State of the City is an effort to update the community on the past year’s achievements and to outline upcoming priorities. Ferdon’s third state of the city speech will be Tuesday evening at The Commons.

The mayor is expected to give updates on topics including replacing the aging city animal shelter, homelessness and affordable housing, the tower project at the airport and improving safety at the entrance of downtown Columbus.

The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and remarks will begin at 6 p.m. in the evening

The event is free and you are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
