Columbus yard cleanup program set for next week

The City of Columbus will be holding its annual spring cleanup for your garden and lawn next week.

During the week of April 6th through the 17th, you can take leaves, grass clippings and pine needles at the curb on your designated trash day for pickup by city Leaf-Vac trucks. Any sticks or branches should be put into a separate pile for pickup by the city chipper crews.

The Department of Public Works says that they will not collect dirt, sod, Mulch, rocks, decorative grasses or any trash or recycling from your yard.
