Columbus yard waste pickups to start again on March 16th

The city of Columbus is giving updates on its yard waste program and how to get the yard waste Toters with their orange lids.

According to the Columbus Department of Public Works, the yard waste program will start up again on March 16th. Department officials say that you can get a yard waste Toter by giving their offices a call or visiting the department website. There will be a one-time fee of $80 and a Toter wll be delivered to you.

You can use the Toter for grass, leaves, flowers or hedge trimmings but there should be no trash or sticks in your Toter.

Yard waste is picked up on your regular trash day from mid-March through mid-December.
