UPDATED: CPD Investigating Death at Mill Race Park

Authorities are still investigating the death of a 39 year old Seymour Man that happened at Mill Race Park on Wednesday.

According to the Columbus Police Department, emergency workers were called to the scene just after 2pm on Wednesday, after a man jumped from the Mill Race Tower and was found to not be breathing. First Responders arrived quickly on the scene and found the 39 year old male from Seymour deceased. Investigators  and the Bartholomew County Coroner’s Officer were called to the scene. Mill Race was closed off to the public while the scene was processed.

The Investigation is still ongoing and there are no signs of foul play. The park is currently back open to the public.
