Downtown Columbus to host spring markets on Fourth Street

Downtown Columbus organizers saw so much success from their SEARS indoor winter markets that they will be offering a spring version.

The indoor winter market concept grew from residents’ feedback during the recent downtown plan update sessions. Residents said they enjoyed the opportunity to meet their neighbors and purchase locally produced goods during the summer time downtown farmers’ markets. And they wanted the opportunity to continue that year round. The final winter market was last Saturday

According to the Office of Downtown Development, the success has led to the addition of three dates for a Downtown Columbus’ Spring Market on 4th Street. The markets will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 28th, April 11th and April 25th. The market will be on Fourth Street between Washington and Jackson streets.
