Applications being accepted for United Way tax help

A reminder: Reservations are open for those who need help filing their taxes in Bartholomew County.

The United Way of Bartholomew County’s is again offering its My Free Taxes program to county residents who make $70,000 or less. IRS-certified volunteers will provide confidential and secure basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.

Appointments can be made by calling the United We Help Line at 812-375-2216 any time between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Assistance is available by appointment only.
