Driver in critical condition after Edinburgh go-kart crash

A driver is in critical condition after crashing a homemade go-kart Sunday in Edinburgh.

According to the Edinburgh Police Department, officers were called to a crash in the 600 block of Kyle Street on Sunday after a witness reported the driver striking a curb and then being ejected from the kart. Officers found a 42-year-old man unconscious at the scene.

Edinburgh medics treated the man at the scene and transported him to IU Methodist Hospital.
