Eastern Bartholomew issues boil water advisory

Some Eastern Bartholomew Water Corp. customers are under a boil water advisory after repairs to a water main.

According to the water utility, crews have been working to restore water service after a water outage near U.S. 31 at County Roads East 100S and South 300E. The outage was caused when workers from another utility damaged the water main.

Affected customers are under a boil water advisory. Under a boil water advisory, you should bring water to a full boil for three to five minutes before drinking it or using it in food preparation.
