Festival of Lights celebrates in downtown Columbus Saturday

The Festival of Lights will be brightening downtown Columbus with Christmas cheer, starting at noon tomorrow.

Organizers Sarah Forbes and Amy Berquist talk about some of the activities going on.

Activities include:

• Pictures with Santa, holiday crafts from kidscommons and non-profit showcase- Noon to 2:30 p.m. at The Commons
• Frosty’s Fun Zone 1 to 5 p.m. on Fourth Street between Jackson and Franklin Streets. Sponsored by JCBank, Bartholomew County Public Library and Red Arch Community Events
• Santa’s Workshop and Claus’ Kitchen 3 p.m. to end of parade on 5th Street
• Kids Yoga at 5 p.m. at Zen Wellness Studio

The parade through downtown starts at 6 p.m. Fireworks will follow the end of the parade.
