First Financial drive raises 600+ financial literacy books locally

First Financial Bank says a book drive last month generated 610 donations at the Columbus-area financial centers.

The book drive generated more than 9,400 donations in the four states served by the bank. The books on financial literacy will be donated to schools, libraries and non profit groups in the community. In the Columbus area the books will go to Foundation for Youth and the Friends of the Bartholomew County Public Library

Roddell McCullough, chief corporate responsibility officer for First Financial, said he was grateful to those who made donations and that improving financial literacy creates opportunities for the bank’s clients and communities to thrive.
