Flood warning back in effect for East Fork White River at Seymour

A flood warning is in effect for East Fork White River at Seymour, with minor flooding ongoing and minor flooding expected.

The river at Seymour is at 13.05 feet, just over a foot above the minor flood stage. It is expected to crest at 16.1 feet by early Friday morning, which is just under a foot below the moderate flood stage of 17 feet. It should drop back below the minor flood level by Saturday evening.

At Columbus, East Fork White River is rising again but is expected to crest at 7.8 feet, which is below the 9 foot minor flood stage. Other area rivers and streams are also rising but none are currently forecast to reach flood level.
