Flood warning issued for East Fork White River at Seymour

A flood warning goes into effect for East Fork White River at Seymour later this morning.

According to the National Weather Service, heavy rainfall over the past few days will lead to minor flooding .

According to flood gauge estimates, the river is expected to crest at just below 15 feet by early Thursday morning. That is nearly three feet above the minor flood level of 12 feet. The river isn’t expected to drop back below flood level until early Saturday morning.

The flood warning is in effect from this morning to Saturday afternoon.
