Health department hosting community baby shower

The Bartholomew County Health Department will be holding a community baby shower later this month to celebrate and support local families.

According to the department, the event is meant to celebrate expecting parents and families with young children, connecting them to valuable local resources. Representatives from the Bartholomew County Health Department and partner organizations will be providing information on parenting support services, healthcare options, and early childhood programs. Information will be provided on prenatal care, safe sleep, and infant wellness.

The event will include free goodie bags with essentials such as diapers and wipes, while supplies last. There will also be raffles, giveaways and light refreshments.

The Community Baby Shower will be from 9am-11am on April 11th at the Bartholomew County Health Department Nursing Division offices. Those are at 2625 Foxpointe Drive. The event is free and open to all families in the community who are expecting a baby or have infants up to 10 months old.
