Indiana’s heaviest snow fell in Columbus

Our area of the state received the deepest snow across Indiana in the weekend’s storms.

According to storm totals from the National Weather Service, the highest snow depth was 14.5 inches in downtown Columbus and 14.3 inches in Hope as of yesterday afternoon. Batesville was next at 14.2 inches, with Seymour and Bloomington both hitting 14 inches of snow.

Brown County and Decatur County each had 12 inches.
