Ivy Tech to host financial aid information session

Ivy Tech Community College Columbus campus will be having an event next week to help students navigate the financial aid system.

According to the school, it is partnering with INvestED, Indiana’s resource for college planning and financial aid, with a free informational session next week on how to fund college wisely. The session will cover topics including how to complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid, identify scholarships and grants, save for college expenses, and understand student loans.

College admissions staff will also be available to discuss applying, enrolling and the school’s academic programs.

School officials say the event is aimed high school students, current college students, and parents seeking guidance on paying for college.
