Learn to make a wreath at upcoming workshops

You will have a chance to learn how to make a holiday wreath in a historic setting this month, as the Bartholomew County Historical Society and the South Central Indiana Master Gardener Association team up to provide lessons.

The groups will be hosting two sessions on how to “Make a Fresh Greens Holiday Wreath.” in the barn at the historic henry Breeding Farm near Edinburgh. Purdue Extension Master Gardeners will provide instructions and help to create handmade wreathes. All supplies are provided but you will need to bring your own garden glvoes and hand clippers.

The first class is Thursday, November 20th and the second on Saturday, November 22, from 10 to 2.

The class sizes are limited to 35 participants. The cost is $40 for members of the historical society and $45 for non members. Proceeds will benefit the historical society and the master gardener association.

To register, call the historical society at 812-372-3541 or stop by the museum at 524 3rd Street. Business hours are Tuesday -Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
