Mental health group to hold friends & family seminar Saturday

The National Alliance on Mental Illness of South Central Indiana will be offering a free seminar on Saturday to help friends and family of those suffering with mental illness.

The NAMI Family and Friends seminar is meant to help learn about diagnoses, treatment, recovery, communication strategies and crisis preparation. There will also be information on how to access helpful NAMI resources.

Lunch will be provided.

The seminar will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday in the board room at the Doug Otto United Way Center on 13th Street in Columbus. For more information or to register, you can call or text: (812) 390-9023 or (812) 390-4764.
