Our Hospice concert raises $17k for services

Organizers say that Saturday’s 39th annual Our Hospice Concert raised more than $71,000 for the cause.

The ticketed event at the Circle K Fieldhouse at Nexus Park drew more than 1,200 people. More than 3,700 tickets were sold for the annual $10,000 dollar raffle prize. Money was also raised through T-shirt and concession sales, sponsors and donors.

Jamison Meyer was the raffle grand prize winner with Mary Palmer, Gail Guynn, Angela Stewart and Lisa Owen also winning prizes.

Funds raised from the concert directly support the mission of Our Hospice by providing hospice care, bereavement services, and palliative care for patients and families across South Central Indiana.
