Reminder: Talking Tombstones tour tonight in Hope

A reminder that Talking Tombstones, a fundraising program for the Bartholomew County Historical Society, will be holding its first event in Hope tonight.

Talking Tombstones features a history of the community, through the voices of actors portraying historic figures buried in a cemetery. Tonight’s event will be in the Gods Acre portion of the Hope Moravian Church cemetery in Hope. Gods Acre is the historic section of the Hope cemetery, with graves dating back to early settlers in the northeastern corner of Bartholomew County.

The event is being organized in partnership with the Yellow Trail Museum in Hope.

It will be from 5 to 9 p.m. tonight and tickets are $20 at the event.
