Restrictions remain on local roads and streets

All area counties still are under travel restrictions this morning but all have moved to the lowest level, a yellow travel advisory.

That includes Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson,. Jennings, Johnson and Shelby counties. A travel advisory means that conditions could be hazardous in some areas.

Bartholomew County Emergency Management reports that secondary roads and side streets are still snow and ice covered in parts of the community and warns of slippery driving conditions.

Forecasters are warning of another cold night tonight with a chance of snow flurries, a low of -1 and windchills -10 below zero.
