Seymour identifies Christmas tree recycling sites

The Seymour Department of Public Works is opening up drop off locations for live Christmas trees starting on Friday.

According to officials, you will be able to drop off trees at Brown, Emerson, Jackson and Redding elementary schools, along with Seymour Intermediate, Seymour Middle and Seymour high schools.

You will need to make sure that the trees are free of lights, stands and ornaments. And they cannot be dropped off inside a tree bag.

The drop off locations will be marked with orange snow fencing.
